BALLYNAHINCH CASTLE
Beautiful old manor castle, now a hotel with lovely woodland walks.  A great place to go for tea or a spot of fishing.  On the Galway-Clifden road.
 
Connemara`s town.  Full of life, craft shops,  music at night,  a great selection of fine restaurants and diners.
 
CONNEMARA NATIONAL PARK
Based In Letterfrack, the park covers over 2000 hectare's of bog, mountain and forest.  There is an interpretive centre, audio-visual centre, tea-room and several signed posted walks at the Letterfrack centre.  A path is currently under construction which will make the ascent of Diamond mountain possible for most age groups & fitness levels.
 
DAN O` HARA CENTRE
You can walk back in time at this historical & cultural centre on Clifden-Galway Road.
 
A short ferry journey from Cleggan pier, this island is a great day trip.  Hire a bike & clcle around the island stopping off for a swim or a pint.
 
A neo gothic Abbey in a stunning lakeside location with visitor & restored Victorian gardens. Two miles from Letterfrack.
 
LEENANE HERITAGE CENTRE
On the road to Westport, this informative centre is well worth a visit.
 
LETTERGESH BEACH
Beautiful beach one of many in the area.
 
OCEAN'S MUSEUM
A mile from Letterfrack on the Renvyle road, find out all need to know about marine and bird life in the area as well as local history.
 
PONY MUSEUM
The Connemara Pony Museum in Station House in Clifden is informative on local history as well as the Connemara pony.
 
Historic, old manor house, now a hotel is well worth a visit for dinner or afternoon tea.  Also fishing & golf available at discounted rates through Heatherhill Cottages.
 
ROUNDSTONE VILLAGE
Well worth a visit.  Walk to the harbour and visit the bodhran maker and local art galleries.
